February 2021 - The natural disasters that occurred in early 2021 have scarred Indonesia, a country that is still struggling to manage the COVID19 pandemic. According to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) data as of 8 February 2021, the type of natural disasters that have occurred in the territory of Indonesia since the beginning of 2021 are floods (227 incidents), tornadoes (66 incidents), landslides (60 incidents), earthquakes ( 7 incidents), tidal waves or abrasion (7 incidents) as well as forest and land fires (4 incidents).
