Bandung, 14 August 2023 - Garudafood, in collaboration with Daarut Tauhiid Peduli and Koperasi Pemberdayaan Umat (KOPMU – DT) held a closing ceremony for the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program and conveyed their appreciation to the best business groups.
The event was held in a hybrid format and was attended by Arief Riadi as the Customer Marketing Area Head (CMAH) of Garudafood, Rani Stephani as the Corporate Communication & Relations, Iwan Firmansyah as the DT Peduli Empowerment Manager. The event was attended by hundreds of housewives participating in the program in Bandung, South Bandung, Tasikmalaya, South Tangerang, Bekasi, and Cikarang.
The Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program is a corporate incubation program that is in line with the company's mission to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To date, a total of 454 housewives have obtained benefits. During the program, participants will receive assistance and soft skill training programs, such as salesmanship, product knowledge, financial report writing, and focus group discussions for participants to share experiences. They were also guided to be accustomed to having a creative and innovative mindset, both in terms of creating and marketing processed creations, birthday packages, hand bouquets, and others so they can become independent entrepreneurs.
