Spread the Goodness of Garudafood in Ramadan

Jakarta, May 21, 2019 - Ramadhan is a month full of blessings as well as the right momentum to improve worship and share happiness with others, therefore in order to foster concern and strengthen ties, PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) held an open fasting with orphans on Monday, May 21, 2019, at Jakarta headquarters.

The event entitled "Creative Ramadhan" which carries the theme "Ramadhan as a Momentum for Forming Creative and Innovative Persons" was attended by Sudhamek AWS (President Commissioner), Dorodjatun Kuntjoro Jakti (Commissioner), Fransiskus Johny Soegiarto (Managing Director), Board of Commissioners and Directors along with all employees of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk.

Met on the sidelines of the event, Fransiskus Johny Soegiarto, Managing Director of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk, said that this activity is a manifestation of the company's concern for each other which is routinely held every year.

"We also do this compensation activities in all our business units during the month of Ramadan with a total of hundreds of beneficiary orphans. We also involve employees by inviting a portion of their sustenance to those who are entitled. We hope that this will further hone the sense of empathy that is the basis of human beings as social beings and in line with the culture of GarudaFood to always be grateful & serve others, "he said.

In addition to providing compensation, the event was also filled with religious lectures "Ramadhan as a Momentum for Forming Creative and Innovative Persons" that were packaged in an interesting and creative way through music and singing delivered by Dik Doank Founder of the Dik Doank Foundation former musician who has now migrated to Syi'ar Islam. The program then closed with prayer, followed by breaking the fast together and praying Maghrib in congregation.

To meet consumer needs during the Ramadhan Month, Garudafood has anticipated the increase in sales of seasonal biscuits by preparing production well in advance, with a target of a sales increase of around 10% -15%. Garudafood is optimistic about sales this year through optimizing production, increasing product quality to innovation in all lines, from processing raw materials to finished products.
