Jakarta, 8 March 2022 - Garudafood held the 2022 Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program targeting 100 groups of women in the Cibiuk – Garut and Tasikmalaya areas. The Kick-Off & Launching of the 2022 Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program was held online/virtually on Tuesday, 8 March 2022 and was attended by Alep Djoni as Regional Head of West Java 2, Nanang Harry Mulyanto (Branch Head Depo Garut), Aminudin (Branch Head Depo Tasikmalaya) and Linda Fitriesti as Corporate Communication Head Garudafood and representatives for the 100 participants who will take part in this program.
Garudafood collaborated with an external partner, Daarut Tauhiid Peduli (DT Peduli), in providing assistance and soft skill training programs, such as salesmanship, product knowledge, financial report writing, and focus group discussions for participants to share experiences.
During the program, the participants will also be guided to get used to having a creative and innovative mindset for creating processed products and gifts/birthday packages/ hampers as well as how to market them.
Through this program, Garudafood aims to be able to identify the community’s potential. One of the ways for doing this is by opening up business opportunities, especially for housewives, through entrepreneurial spirit to create a more productive society.
