Jakarta, 28 April 2022 - H.E . Juan Camilo Valencia González (Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Republic of Indonesia) and Beatriz Barreto (ProColombia's Director for Southeast Asia - Commercial Office Embassy of Colombia in Indonesia) made their first unofficial visit to Garudafood's Head Office in Jakarta on Thursday, 28 April 2022. Garudafood's management, comprising of Hardianto Atmadja (President Director), Fransiskus Johny Soegiarto (CEO), Swadheen Sharma (Chief Commercial Officer), and Dian Astriana Yunianty (Head of Corporate Communication & External Relations) also attended this event.
In the meeting, H.E . Juan Camilo Valencia González appreciated the warm welcome by the Garudafood management and conveyed some information and objectives of the visit, including wanting to directly connect with Indonesian entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities and strategic collaborations that can be utilized from the potential of natural resources, tourism, business networks, etc of Colombia. Colombia itself represents the largest manufacturing industry in Latin America. With a high GDP per capita categorizing it as an upper-middle income economy, Colombia successfully obtained an economic growth of 10.3% in 2021.
