22-25 October 2018 - International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) is an arena for institutions or companies to present their work of innovation and quality improvement and share experiences in running Continuous Improvement. ICQCC was held for the first time in 1976 in Seoul Korea, from the massive movement to improve quality and productivity through Quality Control Circles (QCC) to wider Team Excellence which produced innovative works to support Organization Excellence. The 43rd ICQCC was organized by The Singapore Productivity Association at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore on October 22-25 2018, attended by 16 countries with a total of 2,127 participants.
The Garudafood team joins the Indonesian delegation shaded by AMPPI (Indonesian Quality and Productivity Management Association). Indonesia sent 53 teams from 24 companies. Toto Suharto, Secretary General of AMMPI said that AMMPI received full support from the Directorate of Productivity of the Ministry of Manpower of Indonesia and the National Productivity Institute under the direct direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. The support is intended to encourage the spirit of Indonesian human resources to continue to develop creativity and innovation on a global scale according to the Nawa Cita - Government program in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 today and in the future.
SGA Diamond Capasitor from BU E Rancaekek who previously won the Platinum category at the Indonesian National Convention in Padang last 2017, participated in representing Garudafood. Preparations have been made by the team since the previous 6 months, focusing on strengthening the ability and presentation of presentations in English. The results never betrayed the business, because they finally won the GOLD Award with assessment criteria including project selection, project analysis, project solutions, results, team management & presentation.
