Bandung, 13 November 2023 - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) Unit Sumedang, West Java has won a prestigious award from the West Java Provincial Health Office as a company committed to the Productive, Healthy Women Workers Movement (GP2SP) program. This award was given during the celebration of the 59th National Health Day (HKN) held by the West Java Provincial Government at Gedung Sate, Bandung – West Java on Monday, 13 November 2023.
Garudafood was represented by Effi Harfiana as the Human Capital & Services Head of the Sumedang Unit and received the award which was given directly by Bey Machmudin as the Acting Governor of West Java Province.
As its commitment to the health sector, Garudafood provides exclusive and comfortable lactation rooms, a clinic for employees with 24-hour nurses and general practitioners, additional nutrition for pregnant and lactating mothers, medical consultation with occupational specialists, internal and external lactation counsellors, nutritional counselling and nutritional control for employees through catering certification, classes for mothers and pregnant women exercise sessions as well as routine exercise classes.
One of the achievements of the Productive, Healthy Women Workers Movement (GP2SP) program was the reduction in anemia among women workers. This was achieved by regularly providing iron tablets.
