Sumedang, West Java – PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) Business Unit Sumedang shared knowledge with 60 Food Engineering students of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in the Seminar Room of the ITB Rectorate Building, Jatinangor Campus on Saturday, 11 May 2024.
This seminar was initiated by the ITB Food Engineering Student Association with the theme "First Step Towards a Bright Career Path in FMCG Industry: with PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya, Tbk" with Doni Sukarno (Business Unit Head of Garudafood Sumedang) as a resource person.
On that occasion, Garudafood provided information and education to students regarding the various career opportunities available in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and inspired students to explore their careers in the field of food engineering and how to prepare themselves optimally to face challenges and demands in the employment sector. The session was followed by a presentation on the challenges and potential of the FMCG industry in Indonesia and its role.
This was a very interactive session shown by the questions in the Q&A session between the speakers and the participants who were curious and wanted to explore career opportunities for food technology graduates in the FMCG sector in the future, especially at Garudafood. The final session comprised a Curriculum Vitae (CV) checking session for several participants as well as providing an understanding of how to make a good and interesting CV.
