Cirebon, 25 October 2023 – PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) was a speaker at Gebyar Industri dan Pariwisata 2023, organized by the Cirebon City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) on Wednesday, 25 October 2023 at Hotel Prima Cirebon, West Java.
The event was opened by Ismayasari, Chair of the Cirebon City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was attended by more than 200 participants from the industry, corporate organizations and entrepreneurs. In addition to Garudafood, this event was also attended by other speakers from the West Java Regional Government, Cirebon City Government, and Bank Indonesia. The event's theme was "Application of Smart Production Business Technology Model", aiming to gain insights for participants and an accurate illustration of the application of technology models in the industrial world.
Garudafood was represented by Roni Susanto W, ST., Head of Engineering, who explained the implementation of Smart Technology and Sustainability at the company. Garudafood innovates and invests in technology for the Industry 4.0 system to increase efficiency and productivity. In addition, Garudafood also continues to balance implementing environmentally friendly practices by utilizing greener technology to increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions and waste generation in the company's operations.
In August 2023, Roni Susanto W, ST also became a resource person at a sharing session and discussion on the "Implementation of IoT in the Manufacturing Industry" organized by the Industrial Engineering Bachelor's Degree study program at Telkom University, Bandung, West Java, which 15 Industrial Engineering lecturers also attended.
