Bandung, 13 March 2023 - Garudafood has collaborated with 100 groups of women across several areas in West Java and South Tangerang to take part in the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program for 2023. The Kick-Off & Launching Program for the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village was held in a hybrid format on Monday, 13 March 2023 at the Darul Hajj Building – Bandung, West Java, and was attended by Andreas Sembiring as Regional Head of West Java 1, Arief Riadi (Customer Marketing Area Head for West Java & Central Java), Icuk Sugiantoro (Branch Head Depo Mengger), Nunung Arif (Branch Head Depo Padalarang) and Ibu Linda Fitriesti as the Corporate Communication & Relations Dept. Head of Garudafood and hundreds of representatives located in areas around Mengger and Padalarang. On the other hand, other participants who are hindered by long distances can participate online via the Zoom link that has been prepared by the committee.
Program deepening and strengthening as well as questions and answers between resource persons (online and offline) are a part of the program. During the program, Garudafood collaborated with an external partner, Daarut Tauhiid Peduli (DT Peduli) in providing assistance and soft skill training programs, such as salesmanship, product knowledge, financial report writing, and focus group discussions for participants to share experiences. The participants will also be guided to get used to having a creative and innovative mindset for creating processed products and gifts or birthday packages/ hampers as well as how to market them. The Mengger Depo, Padalarang Depo, Rancaekek Depo, Ciparay Depo, Tasikmalaya Depo, Bekasi Depo, Cikarang Depo, and South Tangerang Depo were also involved and contributed to supporting the smooth running of the program.
