Jakarta, 20 July 2019 - To increase the effectiveness of the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village program, PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) held a brainstorming session with a Coaching approach with dozens of partners at the Garudafood Headquarter, Jakarta on Saturday, 20 July 2019. The Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village Program is one of Garudafood Sehati's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that focuses on the community empowerment pillar which mainly targets housewives. This program aims to help identify the community's potential, establish relationships with the community, open business opportunities, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, and promote a more productive society.
The session, which was attended by Andika Rajasa (Head of People Development of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk) and Budi Suaka Wiwaha (Region Head of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk) is a platform to share experiences and tips that can be used by participants, understand sales management as well as accommodate the aspirations of the partner groups, accommodate the group's needs to be better and 'explore' solutions for existing problems when running the program so that the program can run effectively and give a positive impact for the beneficiaries.
Andika Rajasa, Head of People Development of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk said “This program is an opportunity for housewives to increase their income, through the entrepreneurial spirit that we are fostering. We provide a variety of soft skill and hard skill training for them. We also implement a number of improvements to our internal systems for better monitoring. We also invite Professional Coaches to help these housewives maximize their performance and achieve progress from where they are now as well as design changes to get to the level they want to be.”
"We are very happy and feel assisted by this program because we feel heard and accustomed to finding the best solution to every problem we face. Perseverance, tenacity, and creativity are my focus right now, rather than merely focusing on sales," said Ratna, a participant of the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village program.
Garudafood hopes that all of its partners can be independent, as a group or individual, this is certainly a common challenge because the focus of Garudafood's CSR emphasizes program independence and sustainability.
