The XXIII National Quality & Productivity (TKMPN) Meeting was held in Surakarta City on 18-22 November 2019. This event carries the theme "With the Spirit of Innovation We Improve Quality and Productivity in Supporting the Industrial Era 4.0". The event was attended by 1739 people, 419 presenter teams from 172 companies. This year is the 13th year the company sent a team to TKMPN since 2007. Participants representing Garudafood were the 1st & 2nd place in the SGA & SS category at the Garudafood Award on Innovation (GAIN) in 2019. The SGA team sent was SGA PSPD Excellent from BU Gresik, and SGA Silo from BU Pati Roasted. The SS Team was represented by SS Happy & Syahril from BU Gresik and SS Bayu & Hasan from BU Pati Roasted.
Overall this event is very interesting because it shows the results of improvement and innovation from various companies ranging from automotive, mining, banking, hospitals, plantations, pharmaceuticals, as well as other food and beverage companies. The fourth day was filled with industrial and tourist visits, industrial visits carried out to PT Indo Acidatama then tour visits to the Sangiran Museum, De Tjoelomade, Atsiri House etc. After that the event continued with a dinner together and closed with the Award and Closing Ceremony. On the award night, the Garudafood Team won 1 Platinum Medal and 3 Gold Medals. Platinum winner is SGA PSPD Excellent from BU Gresik, one of the improvements that amazed the jury because it successfully implemented the industry 4.0 concept through a scada-based automatic monitoring application that is connected to the internet to facilitate monitoring and process control. Gold medalists were SS Happy & Syahril from BU Gresik and SGA Silo and SS Bayu & Hasan from BU Pati Roasted. Congratulations to the Winners and See you at GAIN 2020 and TKMPN Lombok 2020.
