Depok, 6 December 2023 – Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti, Independent Commissioner of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood), received the Wirakarya Adhitama Award from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB UI) for his great contributions and services to the alma mater, nation and country.
Teguh Dartanto, Ph.D., Dean of FEB UI, said that the Wirakarya Adhitama is an award given to pioneering figures of FEB UI. The recipients of these awards have given enormous contributions and devotion to the FEB UI academic community, as well as to the nation and state.
“Professor Dorodjatun really deserves this appreciation. He is a scholar and a nobleman, who always worked hard with full devotion. He has made the nation and state proud and obtained achievements at the national and international level," said Teguh.
The awarding of Wirakarya Adhitama was the culmination of the series of events commemorating the 73rd Anniversary of FEB UI. Hartono Atmadja, Commissioner of Garudafood, and Herlina Setyawati, Head of Internal Audit of Garudafood, also attended the event.
With pride, the entire Garudafood family congratulates Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti on the Wirakarya Adhitama Award given by FEB UI due to the contributions, achievements, and high dedication instilled, making the nation and state proud.
As additional information, Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti has held various positions within the Indonesian government, such as LBBP (Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary) Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States and concurrently to countries in the Caribbean region in 1998-2001, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs during the reign of President Megawati Soekarnoputri in 2001-2004, Professor Emeritus of the University of Indonesia in the field of Economics at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Indonesia since 2005, and President Commissioner of Bank Tabungan Pensiun (BTPN) in 2006-2016.
