Jakarta, 16 November 2023 - Garudafood Unit Gresik and Sumedang won the SNI Award 2023. Garudafood Unit Gresik won the Gold category and Garudafood Unit Sumedang won the Silver category. The 18th SNI Award was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (16/11).
Kukuh S. Achmad, Head of the National Standardization Agency (BSN), gave the 2023 SNI Award to Sofyan Iskandar as the Factory Manager of Garudafood and Cyril Patric as the Business Unit Head of Garudafood Gresik.
The 2023 SNI Award symbolizes the government's appreciation, through the National Standardization Body (BSN), for organizations and companies that consistently implement SNI and display superior and sustainable performance.
This year, 61 organizations and companies successfully won the SNI Award after going through an assessment by an independent jury. These organizations and companies are from the Health, Energy and Mineral Resources, Electronics, Agro, Tourism, Finance and Logistics sectors. The SNI Award assessment was carried out quite strictly based on seven organizational and company performance criteria, including leadership, strategy, customers, resource management, operations (business processes), performance analysis and improvement, and business outcomes.
The 2023 SNI Award received by Garudafood is proof of recognition that the company is committed to improving the quality of its products or services in line with sustainability principles and meeting the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) requirements.
