Jakarta, 06 May 2021 - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk ('Garudafood') through Chocolatos Peduli donated more than 2,600 packages consisting of 13,000 Chocolatos products and ready-to-eat food for the health worker volunteers at RSDC Wisma Atlet Kemayoran on Thursday (06/05/2021). This donation was given by Novyta Dian, Brand Manager Chocolatos accompanied by Dian Astriana, Head of Corporate Communication & Relations Garudafood and the donation was received by Lt. Col. M. Arifin, representing Wisma Atlet RSDC. These health worker volunteers call themselves Team Cobra with the motto of "Never Go Home Before Corona Ends", they dedicate their time and efforts to treating COVID-19 patients on a daily basis.
Coinciding with Ramadan, Chocolatos Peduli also sympathizes with the continuous struggle of the Cobra team as a frontline in the fight against COVID-19 which is still ongoing.
Dian Astriana, Head of Corporate Communication & Relations Garudafood said, "We admire the dedication of the Cobra team who continues to work tirelessly to overcome this pandemic. They have to be willing to be separated from their family to carry out this noble task. Therefore, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, we want to share Chocolatos products and ready-to-eat foods so they can maintain their stamina and optimally carry out their duties. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Garudafood has donated a total of more than Rp 7.2 billion for health workers, distribution partners, Garudafood customers, and the community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the surrounding areas of the head office, distribution offices, factories as well as several parts of Indonesia."
Through this activity, Chocolatos hopes to create moments of joy by offering abundant delicious Italian chocolate for the Cobra team who have been fighting against COVID-19. This initiative is expected to revive enthusiasm in facing the challenges in the field.
