Garudafood Successfully Won Four 2020 IBBA Awards

 

In a virtual awarding ceremony held on 18 December 2020, Garudafood won 4 (four) Indonesia Best Brand Award (IBBA) 2020 in the 19th survey carried out by SWA Magazine and the MARS Digital Indonesia Research Company. This award is an appreciation given to the best brands in the country serving as a performance benchmark for Indonesian brands, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The four brands that received the IBBA 2020 award are:

  1. Branded Nuts Category: Garuda
  2. Pilus Category: Pilus Garuda
  3. Wafer Stick Category: Chocolatos
  4. Chocolate Powder Beverage Category: Chocolatos

 

The Indonesia Best Brand Award (IBBA) is an annual survey that measures the value of a brand by describing the elements that determine the value. The survey results can determine the position, changes, and competitiveness of each brand against other brands on each of the elements measured.

 

The survey was conducted in a number of major cities in Indonesia (Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, and Banjarmasin) for a three-month period in 2020. Using the multistage random sampling method, a survey was conducted on more than 10,000 respondents to identify the best brands for various product categories. This award was also assessed by a professional and independent jury.

INDI 4.0 Award from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia

 

This appreciation is given for achieving the industrial 4.0 transformation that has been carried out by the company based on the direct verification and validation from the INDI 4.0 team of the Ministry of Industry since 2019.

 

The INDI 4.0 award was only given to four F&B industries: Garudafood, Greenfields, Kalbe Morinaga, Nutrifood, and 9 companies from 5 other industrial sectors.

 

The Ministry of Industry conducted an assessment based on the INDI 4.0 assessment criteria using five pillars and 17 fields, the implementation of the industrial 4.0 transformation project, as well as the involvement of companies in the industrial 4.0 facilitation program. The other criteria are the impact of the industrial 4.0 transformation on increasing productivity, production process efficiency, and export performance of industrial companies, as well as companies continuing to operate by complying with health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is supported by the application of industrial technology 4.0.

Garudafood Became the ASEAN Branded Export Champion 2020

 

The ASEAN Marketing Summit (AMS) is an annual event conducted by MarkPlus, Inc. in collaboration with the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing, which is held virtually and broadcasted live from studios in Jakarta, Bali, Singapore, Tokyo, and San Francisco.

 

This award is given to companies that are deemed to have contributed to strengthening Indonesia's image at the global level. This award is also an appreciation for the company's performance in producing quality products and having export value to countries in ASEAN to strengthen the Indonesian economy and support the #BanggaBuatanIndonesia program.
