Jakarta, 8 November 2022 – PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk won the "2022 Anugerah BAPETEN" Award for the Safety and Security category in Photofluorographic Activities in all of its business units. The award ceremony was held in a hybrid format on Tuesday, 8 November 2022 at Pullman Hotel Central Park, Jakarta and was attended by the Acting Head of BAPETEN, Ir. Sugeng Sumbarjo, M.Eng, and Basuki Nur Rohman (Director) as Garudafood's representative to receive the award virtually.
The 8th BAPETEN Award 2022 with the theme "Collaborative Strategy for the Supervision of Nuclear Energy Utilization to Build Public Trust" is an award that is given every year by the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) to nuclear energy utilization license holders in Indonesia to ensure the safety and security of workers, communities and the environment as regulated in accordance with Law no. 10 of 1997 concerning Nuclear Energy.
This award is given based on a risk-based assessment system in the form of an index called the Nuclear Safety and Security Index (IKKN). IKKN is a measurable indicator and illustrates the safety and security of facilities obtained through the Inspection Report (LHI) and Facility Safety Report (LKF).
The judging process started from 1 August 2021 – August 31, 2022, based on their commitment and excellent performance in Radiation Safety and/or Radioactive Source Security as well as in the application of radiation safety optimization on radiology patients.
