Management of Garudafood Introduced the New Product “Chocolatos Moccacino” Directly to Customer

Jakarta, 31 August 2019 - On the launching event of newest product of Chocolatos, Chocolatos Moccacino for Ready to Serve drinking coffee, the management of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk urged the managers to directly address customers in several locations across Jakarta and Tangerang, on Saturday (31/8). The event titled “Garudafood  Customer Connection (GCC) Day 2019”, is routinely conducted to build emotional closeness and to figure out the feedback form Garudafood’s customer. This is one of Company’s commitment to improve the product quality and services to its customer.

“We directly introduced the new product of Chocolatos Moccacino to the store owners to get feedback from them about this product, how the taste of the product, is the packaging attractive and the taste of Chocolatos Moccacino can meet the customer’s expectations. Through this activity, our internal employees can know the process of Garudafood’s business product in downstream.” said Fransiskus Johny Soegiarto, Managing Director PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk.

Ferry Haryanto, Marketing Director PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk added “Chocolatos Moccacino is a new variant of Chocolatos for the beverage category of Ready to Seve (RTS), the mix of Italian Chocolate and coffee. We assess the potential of coffee drink in Indonesia is growing by launching Chocolatos Moccacino adapted to Indonesian characteristics of having ‘drinking coffee (ngopi)’ habit. Chocolatos Moccacino can be served hot or cold and enjoyed after tiring day of work and other activities.”

In this event, the Board of Directors and Managers were asked to direct interact with the customer and did a brief interview session to fulfil questionnaire to get insight towards our product. Furthermore, it is also as a method of random samplings to find out the market reaction regarding this current product, to find out the customer’s needs, purchasing power of buyers, market opportunities and penetration of food and beverage products in their sales area. In the future, we are able to improve service and product quality and to create innovative products.

Chocolatos Moccacino is a new variant of Chocolatos for Ready to Server (RTS) beverage category which made of Italian chocolate and coffee without using an artificial sweetener so it can be enjoyed hot or cold at any age. Garudafood committed to continuously create innovative products at affordable prices and maintain its product quality. It is expected that through Chocolatos Moccacino with the tagline “To Make Relax To Refresh” can enliven the market of coffee beverage in Indonesia and meet costumer’s needs.
