In light of Natural Disasters, Garudafood Sehati Distributes Humanitarian Donations

January 2021 - COVID-19, which has been classified as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), is still ongoing. Amidst the pandemic, Indonesia again faced a number of natural disasters since early 2021 which have caused material losses and fatalities. The landslide in Sumedang, West Java, on Saturday (9/1/2021), flood in South Kalimantan (14/1/2021), earthquake and landslide in West Sulawesi (15/1/2021), and flash flood in Bogor (19 /1/2021) have created new scars for Indonesia.

The pandemic is not an obstacle to share and lighten the burden of our fellow citizens afflicted by disaster. Therefore, Garudafood Sehati through the Rancaekek Factory Team and PT Sinarniaga Sejahtera (SNS) and in collaboration with external partners has distributed more than 1,375 cartons of Garudafood products and packages to victims of natural disasters while implementing strict health protocols. This is the way that we care for others regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, and group.

Thank you to the entire Garudafood Sehati Ambassador Team, SNS Team, Marketing Team, and all Garudafood Employees who have participated in distributing donations as well as to all Garudafood Sehati partners, namely Human Inisiatif, BenihBaik.com, Media Group, Sekolah Relawan, Indonesian Chinese Association (INTI) and Kampung Dongeng Indonesia so the activities could be carried out properly and smoothly.

To date, Garudafood Sehati is still distributing assistance for victims of natural disasters in other areas. May we and our families be spared from the disaster and the COVID-19 virus. Let's jointly pray so this disaster will soon pass and that the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon and Indonesia can recover soon.
