Jakarta, 22 June 2023 – PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) achieved the best results in the 2023 K3 Awards audit in 3 (three) factories and won the 2023 K3 Awards for the 'Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3)’ category with a Gold predicate from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia on 22 June 2023 in Jakarta. The two Garudafood factories are located in Pati - Central Java and one factory is located in Sumedang - West Java.
The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) Award is an appreciation for occupational health and safety management system given by the government to company management that has successfully implemented an integrated occupational health and safety system with the company's management system for a specific period, in order to create a safe, efficient and productive workplace.
The Garudafood factory located in Gresik - East Java also received a similar award in 2022. This shows that K3 has become part of the culture embedded in all Garudafood operational activities.
