Jakarta, 18 October 2023 - Indonesia Halal Training & Education Center (IHATEC), one of the largest halal training and certification institutions in Indonesia held the TOP Halal Award 2023 for the second time. This year, PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) through its favorite brand, Garuda, successfully obtained the 2023 TOP Halal Award in the Roasted Peanut and Coated Peanut categories.
The TOP Halal Award 2023 was received by Donny Andrian Budiono as the Brand Manager of Garuda and Teti Herawati as the Food Regulatory Head, at Hotel Aryaduta Menteng, Jakarta (18/10).
The award was given to Garuda because it became the highest-ranking halal brand based on a survey conducted by the Indonesia Halal Training & Education Center (IHATEC) Marketing Research. The survey was conducted in five major cities in Indonesia, i.e. Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar, involving 1,300 Millennial respondents aged 20-40 years old and by direct interview or face-to-face interview.
Garudafood has received five TOP Halal Awards since last year. In the future, Garudafood hopes to continue to increase consumer confidence and meet consumer needs for halal products.
