Infobank Magazine and Marketing Research Indonesia (MRI) awarded the "Infobank-MRI Better Brand Awards 2019". This award was given to 82 companies as owners of 119 products and services that were considered better by consumers in 2018.
The award was given based on the results of a survey conducted by Marketing Research Indonesia (MRI) in collaboration with the Infobank Research Bureau in September 2018 in six cities (Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar). The survey was conducted on 176 brands and 41 products from four major categories, namely consumer goods, public services, financial services, and services.
This is a community economic partnership program that involves the government, private companies, academicians, agencies/institutions such as Islamic boarding schools, through mentoring and facilitation, from the MUI Sharia Business Incubation Center (PINBAS). MUI gave the 2019 Arus Baru Ekonomi Indonesia (ABEI) Award for the category of Community Economic Partner Company to Garudafood.
