Jakarta, 31 May 2021 - The Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM MUI) appreciate halal-certified companies that consistently implement the Halal Assurance System (SJH), including PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk.
The HAS Award is a Halal Assurance System award given to companies based on 4 (four) criteria, namely having a Halal Assurance System, obtaining status A in all registered facilities, timely renewal (registering with CEROL-SS23000 three months prior and completing the process before expiry), and no weaknesses found during the audit in the last four years (not a result of improving weaknesses). Based on data from LPPOM MUI as of April 2021, there is a total of 10,765 halal-certified companies that are still valid, 15,693 halal certificates that are still valid, and 581,005 halal-certified products that are still valid.
